BETWEEN US

The sizzle reel for my comedy pilot, BETWEEN US, co-created and co-written with Rachael Worthington. We are currently seeking producing partners. Why Now? In a world where women are constantly redefining their identities across different stages of life, "Between Us" offers a bold and humorous look at the challenges and joys that come with embracing change, no matter how messy it gets. With its rich character dynamics and a storyline that balances humor with emotional depth, this series taps into the current cultural moment where authenticity and vulnerability are celebrated.

Logline - A polished 50-year-old gynecologist and a chaotic 27-year-old wild-card unwittingly become roommates—and business partners before discovering they’ve both been betrayed by the same man. As they navigate the messy realities of womanhood, from menopause to self-discovery, their bond is tested by secrets, past lovers, and life-altering revelations that threaten to change everything.

OLD SOUL

I co-created, produced, and directed this short film for ELKAR Productions. OLD SOUL, written by Jon Emm, stars Elena Lazorishak and was beautifully shot by Brian Wimer. With the screenplay now complete, we are actively seeking producing partners to bring this compelling story to life on a larger scale.

Synopsis - Elderly Maggie laments giving her bi-racial daughter up for adoption in 1945 due to racism. With nothing left to lose, she sets out on a quest to seek forgiveness from her only living relative, her granddaughter Sophia. She makes a wish into a wishing well and is turned into a little girl and given one last chance at redemption.

LOVING YOU IS COMPLICATED

I co-produced this short documentary with Michelle Toth, as well as directed and edited it for NovelSongs. Loving You is Complicated draws inspiration from Segnon’s complex relationship with America, offering a powerful perspective on July 4th. Written and composed by Segnon (@segnontv) and filmed by Brandon Dotin (@poweryogaguy), this piece weaves together music and storytelling to explore the nuances of love and identity.

Synopsis - Segnon believes we're at a very interesting inflection point where many people have gotten used to communicating in extremes. A perspective that doesn't work for him. Every July 4 we hope we can all take some time to think about the complex history of the United States and acknowledge that although the US declared freedom and independence from Britain on this day in 1776, that enslaved Africans weren’t free or independent for almost another 100 years and are still pushing through a system that is not set up to support them.

Synopsis - A predacious woman delights in pushing a therapy patient to his limits and then moving on to her next victim.
